"COOKING CLASS KEK LAPIS SARAWAK"



“ Kek Lapis Sarawak (Sarawak Layer Cake) is one of the handcraft introduced by the old generation of Sarawak. With the patience and concentration, Kek Lapis Sarawak nowadays is offered with unique patterns and various flavors.”
It is a tradition in Sarawak to serve this cake on special occasions. It is also known as Kek Lapis Moden Sarawak, Kek Sarawak or Kek Lapis. They are often baked for religious or cultural celebrations such as Hari Raya, birthdays, weddings, etc.
MMU Staff Club is bringing you the privilege of learning to bake this special cake as follows:
